Man I am ready

I am so ready for things to start turning around again. Within the past week I have had both of my cars die on me and had to try and figure out how I am going to be able to pay to have two different cars fixed and still have money to get gas and pay the few bills that I have. I feel like I am stuck in a rut again, I am emotionally shot so if I don't seem put together lately and seem down a bit, well it is because I am. I am trying to be postive but sometimes it is not easy. I am trying to also figure out what I want to change in my life and I am just exhausted....Any suggestions on how to get out of this rut?

The Last Song

I have always loved Nicholas Sparks as an author, he is amazingly talented. Some of my favorite books of his are: The Guardian, The Notebook, A walk to Remember and the newest one on my list of favorites is The Last Song. This is a great book...I love it!! Here are a few passages that I would like to share, words that echo my thoughts...or the other way around, however you would like to put it.

"Life, he realized, was much like a song. In the Beginning there is a mystery, in the end there is a confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile."

"God, he suddenly understood, was love in its purest form."

Nicholas Sparks, The last Song

Read it, you will love it

"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." ~ Chapter XXI "The Little Prince"

Shauntae and Jim took Wyatt, Riley, Makenize and I up to the ranch on monday afternoon for a day full of sledding and snowmobiling...here are some of the pictures of us there. It was a fun afternoon away at the cabin.

Wyatt just wanted to shovel the snow

Shauntae testing out the small hill

The snow was so deep that when you tried to walk you would sink in really far so we crawled acrossed the snow...Shauntae crawling back to her snowmobile

By the time we got on the sleigh Cohen was running trying to get off, Ruby and Reagan were cold, Morgan enjoyed the ride and had blast going over the bumps in the field, Wyatt was happy to look out his binoculars and the adults were trying to keep the kids happy. I would have had more pictures of Wyatt and Cohen but they like to run away from me and Ruby was not happy most of the time. It was fun to go back up to Hardware Ranch and see the Elk, I haven't done that for years. Thanks dad for taking me along with the grandkids
